Joshua Tree Wedding Videos from 2017

This post is brought to you by The Quail & The Dove, a husband and wife wedding videography team based in Joshua Tree.

We filmed some gorgeous weddings and elopements in the high desert last year! Here are some of our latest Joshua Tree wedding videos.

With just their closest family and beloved dogs with them, Lauren and Aaron held their intimate wedding underneath a Joshua tree at the Havalina House in Yucca Valley. We made sure to include lots of shots of the “Dog of Honor” and “Best Dog” in the film as they helped out with preps, walked Aaron down the aisle, and even joined in on the first dance!

We loved Lauren’s bohemian bouquet created by the Bloomin Gypsy and her hair and makeup which was done by Tanya Marie Hair.

As well as shots of the wedding day, we included a drone shot to show off the desert landscape and a time-lapse of the setting sun behind the Joshua tree that they got married under.

Most couples couldn’t pull off doing all the event and floral design for their own wedding with just the help of their friends and family but Samantha and Jeremy put together a gorgeous wedding at the Ruin Venue.

We loved the way they chose to style the spaces — from the handmade macrame hanging at the ceremony site to the skulls and air plants on the tables — they put together elements that both reflected the desert environment and their own aesthetic.

Sara and Kaveh’s beautiful wedding was like no wedding we have been to before!  They eschewed tradition to create a wedding day that fitted them perfectly. Over 200 guests from all over the world came together to celebrate Sara and Kaveh’s marriage at Rim Rock Ranch, delivering heartfelt speeches and dancing the night away under a desert sky full of stars.

Pow Wow Design Studio transformed the space from a simple, dusty ranch to a lush, bohemian, Moroccan-themed set-up, with lounges and low tables scattered across the property. The ceremony took place in the center of a ring of chairs laid out in perfect concentric circles.

We loved Sarah and Brandon’s simple and elegant elopement at the Rock Reach House in Yucca Valley. We felt honored to be one of the few there to witness it — it was our first time shooting an elopement and we can’t wait to do more!

You can read more about all of these weddings over in our portfolio on our website. If you want a  film for your wedding or elopement, get in touch. We’d love to hear more!
